Stephan Bonnar looks set to get his wish, as a fight with Rampage Jackson looks to be on the cards for February 2012.

Bonnar called out Jackson after earning a third straight victory with a unanimous decision win over Kyle Kingsbury at UFC 139. The UFC veteran said he has "always wanted to fight Rampage", and Jackson later gave the green light to a showdown in a text to president Dana White.

With UFC 144 taking place at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo on February 26, the match-up could be the main event on the card. While Bonnar is on a 3-0 run, Jackson is nursing his wounded pride after he was forced to tap out for the first time in his UFC career at UFC 135 by light-heavyweight king Jon Jones.

Meanwhile, Cheick Kongo and Mark Hunt are on a collision course to meet in Japan. The fight is yet to be signed but a verbal agreement is in place. Kongo is coming off a decision win over Matt Mitrione at UFC 137, while Hunt bloodied the face of Ben Rothwell early in the second round on the way to a heavy points win in September.
