Shogun denies fracture fears

Mauricio Shogun Rua could make a rapid return to the Octagon after revealing he did not fracture his skull during his defeat to Dan Henderson at UFC 139.
Rua and Henderson were involved in a war earlier in the month, with Henderson grabbing a unanimous verdict.
At the end of the bout, Rua's face was heavily swollen, while he was bleeding from his nose, mouth and a cut above an eye.
There were fears that the light-heavyweight had suffered a skull fracture, which could have ruled him out for upwards of six months. Rua's manager Eduardo Alonso calmed those fears and the fighter has confirmed he is on the mend.
"Thanks for the support guys, I am doing very well, no fractures, just a black eye," Rua wrote on Twitter.
