Ross Pearson appears set for a quick return to action after he admitted he wants to fight again, as soon as March.

Pearson enjoyed a successful end to 2011, beating Junior Assuncao to announce his arrival in the featherweight division. Now the Brit wants to ride his wave of momentum into the New Year.

The Rough House man has already admitted he would happily fight the Korean Zombie, although the UFC is yet to confirm his next rival.

Regardless of the opposition, Pearson's No. 1 priority is to return to the Octagon as soon as possible, with March cited as a potential next date. That would bring UFC on FX in Australia into the equation, while UFC on Fuel 2 in Sweden is also a possibility in April.

Asked if he had an idea of when he would next be back in the Octagon, Pearson replied on Twitter: "Soon, I wanna go March time."

Pearson was then asked if he was secretly campaigning for a fight in Australia, to which he replied: "Why not? Would love to again!"
