Cain Velasquez's next opponent will reportedly be Antonio Bigfoot Silva in April, according to Silva's training partner Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

Velasquez has not fought since losing his UFC heavyweight title to Junior Dos Santos. The Mexican-American has been nursing one or two minor injuries but now appears set to return to action.

Silva is also coming off a loss after he was beaten by Daniel Cormier in the semi-finals of the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix. However, his name remains credible after a brutal victory over Fedor Emelianenko prior to that Cormier loss.

According to Portal Do Vale Tudo, Silva will make his UFC debut in April, with Velasquez the selected opponent.

No official comment has yet been offered by the UFC.
