UFC announces another bout for UFC on Fox 3

TUF 13 winner Tony Ferguson has been handed his next fight, and he has been tasked with the challenge of tricky veteran Dennis Hallman.

Just days after UFC on Fox 2, the UFC is already pressing ahead with plans for UFC on Fox 3, pitching Ferguson into his third lightweight battle since winning The Ultimate Fighter. He is coming off a win over Yves Edwards.

Hallman will bring buckets of experience as he moves closer to his 70th career fight, and he submitted John Makdessi last time out after making the switch back to 155lbs.

Ferguson v Hallman is the second fight to be announced for the May 5 event after the UFC recently confirmed Nate Diaz will fight Jim Miller. A headline bout is yet to be clarified.
