Dan Henderson could hold the key to Jon Jones' potential move into the heavyweight terrain, after Jones revealed he wants to fight Henderson and then move up a weight class in 2013.

Jones has taken the sport by storm since entering the UFC, already becoming the light-heavyweight champion when defeating Mauricio Shogun Rua. He has since beaten Rampage Jackson and Lyoto Machida in convincing fashion, and questions have already arisen over how many challengers he has left.

Rashad Evans is next for Jones in April, another fight for which he is a strong favourite. After that, the youngster admits Henderson is next on his radar.

"I'm not usually one to call out people, but Dan Henderson would be nice," Jones said during a chat on SportsNation.

Should Jones beat Evans and Henderson, the only man currently positioning himself for a title shot down the line is Alexander Gustafsson. After that Jones admits the heavyweight division is his future.

Asked if a year of successful title defences would prompt him to consider the move to heavyweight, Jones replied: "Absolutely". And asked what weight he would operate at, Bones replied: "240".
