Thiago Alves comfortably made weight for the UFC on FX 2 main event against Martin Kampmann, and the Brazilian looked good doing it.

Alves has missed weight on a couple of occasions during his time in the UFC, drawing plenty of anger from president Dana White after his last error ahead of his bout with Jon Fitch.

However, Alves came in under the legal 171lbs limit for a non-title welterweight bout, and there was little sign of drain on the Pitbull's face. Kampmann then matched his weight, so the highly anticipated striking battle is all set to go in Sydney.

Elsewhere, all four flyweights competing in the inaugural 125lb competition came in at the same mark, while staredown of the day went to Cole Miller, who is attempting to avenge his brother's previous loss to Steven Siler.
