Jake Ellenberger and Martin Kampmann have been confirmed to headline The Ultimate Fighter Live Finale on June 1, Jose Aldo's next title defence has been slated for UFC 149 against an unnamed opponent, ande Demian Maia has been handed his debut opponent at welterweight.

The UFC confirmed on Wednesday that verbal agreements are in for Ellenberger v Kampmann, which will act as an explosive five-round welterweight battle - propelling the winner firmly towards a title shot.

Ellenberger is the form man, having won his last six fights. Last time out he dominated Diego Sanchez, before clinging on for victory after damaging a hand.

Kampmann's tale was the opposite, taking something of a hammering off Thiago Alves before pulling out a desperation submission in the dying seconds.

The bout will take place on June 1 in Las Vegas.

On a day of announcements by the UFC it was also revealed that featherweight king Jose Aldo will headline the UFC 149 card in Calgary. The opponent will most likely come from Dustin Poirier's battle with the Korean Zombie.

Meanwhile, Aldo's fellow Brazilian Maia will fight Dong Hyun Kim as his first opponent at 170lbs, and heavy-hitting middleweights Riki Fukuda and Costa Philippou will clash.

In other news, Dana White revealed Chael Sonnen and Anderson Silva are going to clash in a soccer stadium in Rio that holds 80,000 people. UFC 147 is expected to take place June 16 or June 23.
