Sonnen reveals Stone Cold Steve Austin link-up

Chael Sonnen has revealed he has been working with WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin ahead of his UFC 148 meeting with Anderson Silva.

Austin has been putting Sonnen through his paces so he can get in the best possible shape for the July 7 shootout in Las Vegas.

"Part of my arrangement with Mr. Austin is that I don't get too into it so you're gonna have to let me sidestep this one," Sonnen told TSN's Off the Record show.

"But look, this isn't anything new. I've worked with him for the last three fights. He's a strength and conditioning coach, he has me out to the ranch and he puts me through hell for 30 days.

"That's what we use to jump start our training, basically. That's it. He doesn't want to be involved and I'm not going to involve him."

Sonnen was submitted by Silva when they met at UFC 117.
