Dana White categorically confirmed during the UFC 146 post-fight press conference that the UFC will be coming to Nottingham later this year, and Dan Hardy is almost certain to be on the card.

The UFC 146 event was a good one for British MMA, with Hardy and Paul Sass scoring eye-catching first-round stoppages. Both men are now looking likely to fight in Nottingham.

An event has been tipped for September 29, with no indication as to who will headline the card. However, asked if Hardy's win over Duane Ludwig had sealed his place on the card, White was extremely positive.

"That [card] is happening and Dan will probably be on that card," White said.

Asked if the same could be said for Sass, White replied, "Yeah, very possibly," before confirming the Liverpudlian would get a significant step up in calibre for his next fight.

Both Brits walked away with $70,000 bonuses after White scrapped the Fight of the Night bonus to hand out two Knockout of the Night cheques and two Submission of the Night awards. Roy Nelson and Stefan Struve were also rewarded.

One thing that looks unlikely to happen, though, is Hardy coaching the UK team on the forthcoming "Smashes" TUF series. Ross Pearson is the favourite to be handed that role.

Asked if Hardy had booked his ticket for the TUF gig, White simply answered: "No."
