Cote handed Cung Le clash at UFC 148

Patrick Cote returns to UFC action for the first time in nearly two years when he faces Cung Le at UFC 148 on July 7.

Cote, who fought for the UFC middleweight title against Anderson Silva in 2008, has grabbed four wins since his last UFC appearance, which came in October 2010.

Le was beaten by Wanderlei Silva on his UFC debut last November at UFC 139, suffering a second-round stoppage loss.

Meanwhile, it has been announced that Phil Davis will meet Octagon newcomer Wagner Prado at UFC on Fox 4.

Davis had been scheduled to face Chad Griggs, who has suffered an injury and will not be able to fulfil the date.
