Hardy confirmed for Nottingham card
Popular British UFC fighter Dan Hardy has been confirmed on the card for the forthcoming UFC event in Nottingham.
Fresh off his most recent victory at UFC 146, Hardy will fight Amir Sadollah at the event in England, which takes place on September 29 at the Capital FM Arena.
Having been on the verge of being cut from the UFC, Hardy will now get the chance to rebuild his standing in the welterweight division in front of his home fans. On his last fight inside the Octagon Hardy grabbed a crucial knockout against Duane Ludwig - snapping a four-fight losing streak that had many observers fearing for his UFC future.
Sadollah, meanwhile, enters the fight having beaten Jorge Lopez by split decision in his last appearance - meaning he has now won three of his last four bouts.
Another fight has also been confirmed for the card - Jason Young will take on Robbie Peralta in a featherweight contest.
Young, from London, most recently beat Eric Wisely in Stockholm in April.
