The UFC 152 main event between Junior Dos Santos and Cain Velasquez is now unlikely to happen, according to president Dana White.

Speaking after the UFC 147 main event, which saw Rich Franklin defeat Wanderlei Silva via unanimous decision, White's focus turned to another of the Brazilian stars: Heavyweight champ Dos Santos.

White had previously suggested that Dos Santos v Velasquez II would headline UFC 152 in Toronto. BJ Penn v Rory MacDonald is slated for the co-main event.

Initial doubts were cast over the headline fight when one of Dos Santos' coaches claimed Velasquez had a broken hand. Those fears were later dismissed by Velasquez's head coach.

However, without providing a reason, White now does not expect the heavyweight battle to go ahead. It remains to be seen how long it will take to reschedule the bout.

"That fight will happen. I don't know when and I don't know where," White said. "It's going to depend on Junior.

"They're probably not going to fight in Toronto."
