Tito Ortiz feels that next opponent Forrest Griffin should give serious thought to following him into retirement.

Former light-heavyweight champion Ortiz faces Griffin at UFC 148 in his final Octagon appearance.

"I'm excited for the fight. Forrest is a tough guy and I know he's training really hard," Ortiz told MMAWeekly Radio.

"I just heard a little thing saying that if he loses to me he's going to retire. Well, it looks like he better put on his retirement shoes cause it's going to be an exciting fight and I plan on having my hand raised."

Ortiz has won just one of his last eight UFC bouts, including a loss to Griffin in November 2009. He has a win over Griffin on his CV from April 2006, however.
