Cerrone to face Guillard at UFC 150

Donald Cerrone will have the chance to cement his lightweight title credentials after Melvin Guillard agreed to fight at UFC 150 in Denver.

Guillard, who beat Fabricio Camoes at UFC 148 last weekend, will have a quick turnaround in order to prepare for the clash at the Pepsi Center on August 11.

He too will have the chance to put himself back into the 155lb title picture if he can get the better of Cerrone, who returned to winning ways against Jeremy Stephens in May after his five-fight winning streak was ended by Nate Diaz in December.

The winner of the clash could be thrown into the picture for a title fight, with lightweight champion Ben Henderson taking on Frankie Edgar in a rematch on the same night.
