UFC president Dana White has promised to clear up the middleweight picture after Hector Lombard's fight with Tim Boetsch at UFC 149 this weekend.

Following Chris Weidman's headline-grabbing win over Mark Munoz, the 185lb picture has been blown wide open. Weidman, Michael Bisping, Brian Stann, Lombard, Vitor Belfort and Alan Belcher all want title shots, not to mention Rashad Evans' temptation to drop into the ocean.

The situation has left fans pouring over the options, and White said he will have all the answers after Lombard's fight with Boetsch.

"Oh, we've got plans," White stated during Thursday's UFC 149 press conference. "That's all I've been talking about for four days. I've been on the phone with [UFC matchmaker Joe Silva] putting together some really good fights. As long as everybody stays healthy…

"And you know how normally after a fight on Saturday, you guys are like, 'Who's he gonna fight next?' and I'm like, 'I have no idea.' I'll have answers for you on Saturday. So we'll see who wins and I'll have a lot of answers for the 85 pound division."

"I'm excited, man," White said. "The 85 pound division has never been more exciting. There's a ton of great guys now, a ton of great fights to make and it's gonna be fun. This next six-seven months, it's gonna be a really fun time for the 85 pound division.

"I'm pumped. I'll have answers for you on Saturday."
