Brock Lesnar is highly unlikely to make a return to the UFC, according to the fighter's manager Paul Heyman.

Lesnar's name was recently bouncing around MMA forums after UFC president Dana White asked fans if they would be interested in seeing the WWE star fight Fedor Emelianenko.

However, White clarified the situation in a recent interview, revealing he only posed the question out of his own interest. He also predicted that he would have little chance of persuading Emelianenko to fight for the UFC now that he is retired, given the fact he could not coax the Russian when he was active.

Lesnar, a former UFC heavyweight champion, quit the sport after a brutal loss to Alistair Overeem - which came after he suffered a serious intestinal disorder. The chances of his return, according to Heyman, are very slight.

"I think Dana White would love to have Brock Lesnar back," Heyman told MMA Mania. "I think Lorenzo Fertitta would love to have Brock Lesnar back.

"Does Brock Lesnar want to go back? I don't think Brock has anything to prove in the UFC anymore.

"He's 35 years old. He made a lot of money in the UFC. His house and his farms and his cars and everything that he owns is paid for. Why would he go in and risk injury and concussions and risk any kind of physical damage when he doesn't need to?

"That's the thing you have to understand. How hungry can a fighter be when he has millions and millions of dollars in the bank? What's there for him to gain? Another run as UFC heavyweight champion? Why would he do that?"
