Carlos Condit has brushed off Georges St-Pierre's decision to train with Dan Hardy ahead of their forthcoming welterweight title fight.

St-Pierre will return to the Octagon for the first time in 19 months on Saturday, as he faces Condit to decide who is the premier fighter in the division.

The Canadian, who has recovered from a long-term injury, has called in Hardy to help him prepare for the challenge of Condit, after the Brit fought the American at UFC 120 over two years ago.

Hardy was knocked out inside the first round by Condit on that occasion, but St-Pierre seemingly believes 'The Outlaw' can offer him some additional insight ahead of the eagerly-anticipated fight - a decision that Condit described as "interesting".

"Interesting choice, I didn't know that," Condit told MMAmania.com, when informed of Hardy's work with St-Pierre. "It's interesting. Hey, he's a good kickboxer and a pretty good allround fighter and you know his last couple fights he looked really good."

Hardy has also previously faced St-Pierre - losing to the Canadian in a welterweight title fight in March of 2010.
