Johny Hendricks already has a potential challenger if he is made to wait for his UFC title shot, with Jake Ellenberger pleading to fight the powerful welterweight.

Hendricks needed 46 seconds to knock out Martin Kampmann in the UFC 154 co-main event, cementing his place as the No. 1 contender to Georges St-Pierre.

However, UFC president Dana White is convinced St-Pierre's next fight will be Anderson Silva, which would leave Hendricks with plenty of time on his hands unless he fights again.

Ellenberger is willing to put his name forward for a potential barnburner, and he has even put his entire UFC career on the line. The Juggernaut says he would quit the sport if he lost to Hendricks.

"IF Johny Hendricks beats me @danawhite, cut me & I will be a man of my word & NEVER fight again."

Nick Diaz was also on Twitter, saying he was not impressed with St-Pierre's performance against Carlos Condit, to which GSP replied: "I did better than Diaz against Carlos!"
