Anderson likes idea of Bisping TUF rivalry
Silva arrived in Montreal to watch the UFC 154 main event, which was won by an impressive Georges St-Pierre against Carlos Condit. He now wants to be named as St-Pierre's next opponent.
The Brazilian has told UFC president Dana White, "I'm ready", and White himself insisted he will make the superfight happen in May. However, St-Pierre remains non-committal and will take time out to decide his next option - clearly feeling Silva may be too big for a fair fight.
If GSP opts out of the long-awaited meeting of welterweight and middleweight champions, Silva will be left either to target light-heavyweight king Jon Jones, or to return to his 185lb weight class and defend his belt.
When asked who might get that shot if he does return to middleweight, Silva replied: "Good question. I'm here to fight. Chris Weidman? Maybe."
It was then suggested to Silva that he could coach on The Ultimate Fighter in a UK v Brazil series against Michael Bisping. That suggestion seemed to get his fire burning.
"Bisping for Ultimate Fighter in Brazil? Yeah. Good idea. Talk to Dana!"
