Riddle accepts Hathaway fight offer
UFC welterweights John Hathaway and Matt Riddle could be on a collision course to fight in 2013 after the American accepted the challenge over Twitter on Tuesday.
After uncharacteristically calling out Riddle at the weekend, Hathaway told the ESPN UFC Podcast on Tuesday that he preferred to fight the winner of the upcoming Matt Brown v Mike Swick fight at UFC on Fox 5 in Seattle on December 8.
But he would also be happy to fight Riddle, who beat Hathaway's previous opponent John Maguire at UFC 154. Riddle is rumoured to be heading for a different opponent early in 2013, but he told the UFC he is up for the Hathaway challenge if presented.
