Urijah Faber looks set to return to the Octagon in February after he has reportedly agreed to fight Ivan Menjivar at UFC 157.

Faber looked to be heading for a fight with Vaughan Lee at UFC 156, but the Englishman has since dismissed the claims, saying there was no truth to the rumours.

Instead, Faber has been slated to face Menjivar, who will be looking to boost his chances of a shot at Renan Barao's UFC interim bantamweight title in Anaheim on February 23.

It follows the news that bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz is expected to be out for another 12 months following a further injury setback.

Meanwhile, Joseph Benavidez has verbally agreed to fight Ian McCall at UFC 156, on the same night Jose Aldo puts his featherweight title on the line against Frankie Edgar.

Two fights have also been added to the UFC on Fox 6 undercard, with Ryan Bader taking on Vladimir Matyushenko at light-heavyweight, while David Mitchell meets Simeon Thoresen at welterweight.
