John Dodson, winner of the bantamweight competition on season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter, has offered his advice to the British trio as they chase a six-figure UFC contract this weekend.

The TUF Smashes Finale will play host to an all-British encounter as Norman Parke and Colin Fletcher square off in the lightweight competition. Then, at welterweight, Brad Scott takes on Australian Robert Whittaker.

Rarely does so much pressure accompany a fight, with life-changing rewards on offer for the two winners.

Dodson has experienced the high of such an occasion, beating TJ Dillashaw via TKO a year ago. He has since gone on to earn a flyweight title shot, so is well positioned to advise the new crop.

"Go out there and win," Dodson told ESPN. "Go out there and leave it all out there because you know you're not going to fight for a while.

"You've got 15 minutes, so let it out. Let your hands go, let everything that you know outside the window and just go.

"Don't listen to the crowd, don't listen to everyone booing at you, don't listen to the people cheering at you because when they get in your head, you're screwed."

The TUF Smashes Finale is headlined by Ross Pearson's showdown with George Sotiropoulos. Also on the card, Hector Lombard meets Rousimar Palhares.
