Leben set to face UFC debutant after Vemola injury

Middleweight Chris Leben will have a new opponent at UFC 155 after Karlos Vemola was forced to withdraw from the final event of 2012.

Derek Brunson has verbally agreed to replace the injured Vemola and is set to make his UFC debut against Leben in Las Vegas on December 29.

Leben makes his return from a year-long suspension after testing positive for prescription painkillers last year.

Meanwhile, injury has also forced featherweight Cody McKenzie to withdraw from his preliminary card clash against Leonard Garcia.
