Lombard faces Okami in Japan

Japanese middleweight Yushin Okami will face Hector Lombard on home soil at UFC on Fuel TV 8.

Okami is on the up following his recent win over Alan Belcher and he will look to continue his rise against Lombard on March 3.

Lombard is another fighter aiming to boost his profile. His UFC debut ended in a disappointing loss to Tim Boetsch, a fighter who also has a win over Okami on his record, but he put himself on the front foot with a victory over Rousimar Palhares last month and a win could put him in the mix for a title shot at 185lb.

UFC 156 is taking shape and Isaac Vallie-Flagg will make his UFC debut against Yves Edwards.

UFC 156 take place in Las Vegas on February 2, with Jose Aldo against Frankie Edgar the headline fight.
