Dan Henderson will get to Jon Jones before Daniel Cormier, according to UFC president Dana White.

Cormier's introduction to the UFC has sparked intrigue surrounding both the heavyweight and light-heavyweight divisions, with the AKA man seemingly able to fight in either.

He will begin his UFC career against Frank Mir, but with AKA team-mate Cain Velasquez currently the UFC heavyweight champion, Cormier says it is likely he will soon drop to 205lbs.

Boasting a powerful wrestling base, Cormier is one of only a few men credited with posing a threat to champion Jones, who is set to meet Chael Sonnen in April.

Henderson is another, but he missed his chance to fight Jones when a knee injury ruled him out of UFC 151. Instead he meets Lyoto Machida at UFC 157, but White says he is ahead of Cormier in the pecking order.

"I think Dan Henderson, I think he wants the Jon Jones fight," White said during the media scrum at Wednesday's UFC 158 press conference. "Actually, yeah [he's ahead of Cormier]. He'll fight before Cormier, so yeah, he would be."
