Marquardt in line to face Ellenberger

Nate Marquardt is being lined up to face Jake Ellenberger at UFC 158.

UFC officials were forced into a reshuffle of the Montreal card when Rory McDonald was struck down by injury and forced out of his fight with Carlos Condit.

Johnny Hendricks was bumped up to fight Condit, leaving Ellenberger without an opponent. T he juggling act seems set to end, with reports in Canada claiming Marquardt has agreed to meet Ellenberger. Marquardt, a former Strikeforce world champion, has not fought in UFC since his win over Dan Miller in March 2011.

UFC 158 is headlined by the welterweight title fight between Georges St-Pierre and Nick Diaz.
