An undisclosed injury has forced UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson out of a scheduled title defence against John Moraga on April 13.

UFC officials confirmed the news on Tuesday. The 125lb title fight was scheduled to headline The Ultimate Fighter Finale in Las Vegas. A new main event has not yet been officially announced, although Urijah Faber v Scott Jorgensen is reported.

Johnson (17-2-1) successfully defended the flyweight title for the first time with a unanimous decision over John Dodson in January. He claimed the inaugural belt with a split decision win over Joseph Benavidez at UFC 152.

Moraga (13-1) earned the title bid with back-to-back finishes over Ulysses Gomez and Chris Cariaso. The Arizona native's only loss came in 2010 to Dodson via decision.

Elsewhere, an intriguing lightweight battle has been set for UFC on FX 8, headlined by Vitor Belfort v Luke Rockhold on May 18 in Brazil. According to Globo TV, Evan Dunham will meet the in-form Rafael Dos Anjos, in a bout that will move the winner close to title contention.

Dunham is coming off an entertain win over Gleison Tibau, while Dos Anjos has won his last three including a November domination of Mark Bocek.
