Swedish light-heavyweight Ilir Latifi made weight as promised for his UFC debut, coming in at 206 pounds during Friday's official UFC on Fuel TV 9 weigh-in.

Latifi (7-2) faces Gegard Mousasi in the main event of UFC on Fuel on Saturday at Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm. He accepted the fight on Tuesday, replacing fellow Swede Alexander Gustafsson, who was forced out due to a cut.

That left Latifi three days to cut weight. In an interview with ESPN.com on Thursday, Latifi said he typically weighs close to 230 pounds between fights but was confident he'd make the 206-pound limit. Mousasi (33-3-2) weighed 204 pounds.

"I will make weight," Latifi said. "I'm not such a tall guy, but I'm pretty heavy. I usually weigh between 225 and 230 pounds. I wasn't prepared. I was 26 pounds over."

All 26 fighters scheduled to compete on the UFC on Fuel event made weight.

In the co-main event, lightweight Ross Pearson (14-6) meets UFC newcomer Ryan Couture (6-1). Pearson, who weighed in at 155 pounds, will look to build off a TKO win over George Sotiropoulos in December. Couture came in at 154 pounds.

Other fights on the main card include a heavyweight bout between Matt Mitrione (5-2) and Philip De Fries (9-2) and a bantamweight bout featuring Mike Easton (13-2) and Brad Pickett (22-7).
