.Rick Story will replace Gunnar Nelson at UFC 160, after the Icelandic fighter was forced to withdraw from his scheduled meeting with Mike Pyle due to injury

Nelson had been due to face Pyle on May 25 in Las Vegas, but the welterweight matchup will now feature Story following Nelson's withdrawal after picking up an undisclosed injury.

"Really sorry to be out of UFC 160," the undefeated Nelson said on Twitter. "Will have surgery, heal fast and be ready for action later this summer!"

Story has lost three of his last five fights, but most recently defeated Quinn Mulhern at UFC 158 in March.

Pyle, meanwhile, is on a run of three successive victories since losing to Rory Macdonald at UFC 133, and had been hoping to put himself firmly into title contention by condemning Nelson to a first defeat inside the Octagon.
