Hall & Gastelum reach final for Sonnen

Uriah Hall will face Kevin Gastelum for a UFC contract on Saturday evening, as the 17th season of The Ultimate Fighter reaches its conclusion.

Middleweight Hall stopped Dylan Andrews by second round TKO during Tuesday's show, while Gastelum successfully submitted Josh Samman. Both fighters are part of Chael Sonnen's team.

Sonnen fights Jon Jones for the latter's light-heavyweight world title at UFC 159 on April 27.

Hall has been impressive all season, with coach Sonnen branding him a "contender" in the middleweight division if he makes it to the UFC.

"This kid is the nastiest, deadliest, meanest, kid that we have ever seen in the history of TUF,'" UFC president Dana White added of Hall.

Gastelum, meanwhile, overcame a five-inch height disadvantage and seven-inch reach disadvantage to take out Samman.

"I'm just in shock right now," Samman said afterwards.
