Todd Duffee, holder of a seven-second knockout in the UFC, has been cut by the organisation according to MMA Junkie.

Duffee exploded onto the UFC scene with a record knockout against Tim Hague, instantly earning him the tag of one of the brightest up-and-coming heavyweights in the division. However, he lost his next fight, battering Mike Russow for 13 minutes before suffering a shock knockout.

It appears that it is Duffee's out-of-Octagon actions have cost him his place in the UFC, with reports of a rocky relationship with president Dana White.

Lingering knee injuries have kept Duffee out of recent bouts, but news that he no longer fights with the UFC will undoubtedly alert rival organisations.
