An axe-wielding man interrupts Dan Hardy

Dan Hardy has told Josh Koscheck 'I'd fight you anywhere' after series 12 of The Ultimate Fighter kicked off this week.

The two best welterweights in the UFC, champion Georges St-Pierre and No. 1 contender Josh Koscheck, have taken on the roles of rival coaches for TUF 12, which will culminate in a December title fight.

Hardy has had plenty to say about Koscheck over the past 12 months, and it would seem that the pair are destined to meet in the future. The American recently angered Hardy's Rough House team-mate Paul Daley, resulting in an illegal post-fight punch from Daley that saw him cut from the UFC.

Now Hardy, like everybody else, will be forced to watch Koscheck's antics throughout the TUF 12 series, and the Outlaw insists all he would need is one punch to wipe the smile off his face.

"Koscheck's a broken record, it's always the same stuff coming out of his mouth," Hardy told ESPN.

"He plays the bad guy very well but I just don't think he's smart enough to realise he's doing it. He's got no filter between his brain and his mouth, and whatever he thinks just comes straight out.

"He thinks a lot of himself. He thinks a lot more of himself than everybody else does - that's for sure. I'd fight him anywhere. As long as I can hit him with one solid clean shot that's all I need."
