UFC UK president Marshall Zelaznik has confirmed Randy Couture and UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar are coming to England for the UFC 120 Fan Expo.

Zelaznik had already revealed the names of 23 stars to be attending the build-up week to UFC 120 in London, including the likes of Jon Jones, Thiago Alves and Wanderlei Silva. However, the addition of a lightweight champion and a UFC legend might just top the bill.

ESPN confirmed the news with the UFC after Zelaznik revealed on his Facebook page: "Two additions to Expo: Hall of Famer Randy Couture and UFC Lightweight Champ Frankie Edgar."

ESPN had spoken to Zelaznik just days before the latest announcement, and he revealed that UFC 120 had already broken previous records for a European UFC event.

"I think there's only 100 tickets left, we've already broken revenue records for any other event in England or Europe, so UFC 120 is a big big show," Zelaznik said.

"The day we say 'let's do an Expo', we have no idea what will happen in terms of fighter availability or health. So to be able to bring the fighters that we are, especially to the UK where our fans feel slightly starved of events, it's really exciting.

"When you go to Expos, you think 'my goodness, I remember when I used to watch this sport, I used to have to pay somebody just to get a DVD to watch it'. Now you see queues of fans interacting with fighters, seeing how big the sport has become, so I'm genuinely excited. All the fighters will be in the crowd on fight night, they wouldn't miss it for the world.

"It's a testament to how big the sport's getting. We've generated more revenue on this event than any other European event. The previous record was held by the Manchester card headlined by Randy Couture. So this one has already done better than that."
