Brad Pickett hugely respected by Joe Silva

The Korean Zombie looks set to land in the UFC after Chan Sung Jung was reportedly added to the January 22nd UFC Fight for the Troops card.
Jung is odds-on to win the World MMA Fight of the Year award for his WEC barn-burner with Leonard Garcia back in April, which featured two men with granite chins and wild strikes. Now the Korean Zombie is set to make his UFC debut against Rani Yahya in Texas.
Also being added to that card is Pat Barry, who will look to bounce back from defeat to Mirko Cro Cop by taking on Joey Beltran. UFC Fights for the Troops 2 is headlined by a meeting between lightweight contenders Evan Dunham and Kenny Florian.
However, there is disappointing news for Jung's rival in that epic WEC war, Leonard Garcia, who is out of The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale on December 4, according to Sherdog. Garcia will be replaced by Ian Loveland for his fight with Tyler Toner.
Meanwhile, UFC UK president Marshall Zelaznik fully anticipates the arrival of England's Brad Pickett into the UFC as part of its merge with the WEC. Pickett is an exciting bantamweight fighter who lost to Scott Jorgensen in his last outing, and Zelaznik revealed matchmaker Joe Silva is a big fan.
"Brad Pickett, who's in the WEC now, I've seen him fight and I was amazed," Zelaznik told ESPN. "From talking to Joe Silva, he really does hold Brad in high regard as one of the most talented fighters out there.
"I think what has to happen first is that there has to be a weaning out of the current WEC guys to make room for fresh talent. So all the fighters that are currently being watched at bantamweight and featherweight, have to wait for their opportunity."
