Rampage Jackson set for Thiago Silva showdown

Quinton Rampage Jackson and Thiago Silva are set to square off at UFC 130, according to various sources close to the two fighters.
Jackson had been looking set for a showdown with James Toney as the pair engaged in lengthy trash talk exchanges, although such a match-up would do little for Rampage's title prospects as he nears the end of his UFC contract.
A much more logical step for the former UFC light-heavyweight champion is Silva, who dished out a beating to Brandon Vera in his last fight, which marked his return to winning ways after he rocked - but ultimately lost against - Rashad Evans at UFC 108.
MMA Junkie and Fighters Only both claim the fight will take place at UFC 130, with the winner propelled towards a title shot.
Other bouts to affect the title picture in the 205lb division will be Randy Couture's clash with Lyoto Machida and Ryan Bader's battle with Jon Jones, the latter of which takes place on February 5 at UFC 126.
