- Fight For The Troops 2
Mitrione extends unbeaten record

Matt Mitrione secured his fourth UFC victory with a first-round knockout of Tim Hague at the Fight For The Troops 2 event at Fort Hood.
After an initial exchange of leg kicks, Mitrione unleashed a straight left to send Hague to the canvas, and referee Dan Miragliotta stepped in to end the bout before the three-minute mark after the former American footballer pounced.
Mark Hominick secured himself a shot at UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo after a first-round stoppage of George Roop. The fight lasted under a minute and a half after Hominick dropped his opponent with a left hook.
Melvin Guillard is also demanding a title shot after he delivered a shock stoppage of Evan Dunham in the lightweight division. Dunham is one of the hottest prospects at 155lbs, losing only once prior to Saturday's clash when he dropped a controversial split decision to Sean Sherk.
Guillard is a man reborn under the guidance of Greg Jackson though. His takedown defence was exceptional against Dunham, and his hands typically explosive as he dropped his foe in round one before finishing the fight with a series of knees.
Elsewhere, there were wins for Pat Barry and Matt Wiman.
