Anderson Silva has admitted to making a few adjustments to his strategy ahead of his middleweight title fight with Vitor Belfort on Saturday.

Silva is unbeaten in 12 UFC contests, but came close to suffering his first loss against Chael Sonnel at UFC 117 in August. Sonnen caught the champion with some big shots and was ahead, only for Silva to show his fighting qualities by forcing a triangle arm bar and making Sonnen tap out.

Silva is aware of the threat that Belfort will carry at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vega, but he is remaining calm despite making slight changes to his routine.

"I just checked my blood pressure and it's normal," Silva said. "I don't feel any extra pressure."

When asked about his training, Silva said: "I made a few adjustments, but pretty much I've been on the same track maintaining the thing that I always do. It's a very intense training camp.

"I'm always working to improve, but I've just kept the intensity throughout, and I'm just going to go out there and do my job and do what I'm trained to do."
