Wineland is more dangerous than Cruz - Faber
Urijah Faber has paid a huge complement to UFC 128 opponent Eddie Wineland, labelling him a more dangerous fighter than UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz.
Former WEC featherweight champion Faber makes his much anticipated UFC debut on March 19, taking on an opponent in Wineland who has picked up Knockout of the Night cheques in his last two outings.
Reigning bantamweight king Cruz has won his last eight fights since being defeated by Faber in March 2007, but the California Kid predicts Wineland is more likely to knock him out.
"I don't think he's the better fighter out of the two, but he's the more dangerous guy," Faber told Fight Week.
"Wineland has a lot of finishes, he's got some knockout power, but he's definitely not as well-rounded as I am or Dominick Cruz. He has a threat in one area, I have a threat in a bunch of areas - that's the difference in this fight.
"I'm on the grind right now, so my body's beat up but I feel awesome. I haven't started dieting yet, but I'm already 152 or 153. I can't wait."
