'Disgusted' Shogun admits Jones 'hits hard'

Mauricio Shogun Rua has broken his silence following the humbling UFC 128 defeat to Jon Jones, confessing the new champion "hits hard".
Shogun lost his UFC light-heavyweight strap to Jones via third-round TKO in New Jersey. The Brazilian was out-struck 87-13, and by the time the final blow was delivered Rua was left crumpled on the mat.
Rarely has a UFC champion been so outclassed, with Jones schooling his rival when striking, clinching and grappling.
Shogun's brother Murilo has previously suggested than an early flying knee by Jones - one of the first strikes thrown in the bout - was the cause for Rua's lacklustre display, and now the former champion has confirmed the diagnosis.
"I'm disgusted, [Jon Jones] hits hard," Shogun told Graciemag. "I got hit by a knee early in the game and I was out of the fight all along."
