Bisping does not want to fight 'steroid cheat' Marquardt

Michael Bisping has ridiculed Nate Marquardt, labelling the UFC middleweight a "steroid cheat" who "s***s the bed every time he's in a main event".
Bisping has been angered by Marquardt, who recently called the Brit an "ass" and claimed he would "like to punch him in the face to shut him up" following Bisping's alleged spitting controversy at UFC 127.
Marquardt has a chequered history of his own, having been suspended in 2005 for testing positive for nandrolone. He also had a point deducted for an illegal knee against Thales Leites at UFC 85, so Bisping told the American to jump down off his high horse.
"He's a steroid cheat, let's not forget that," Bisping told the MMA Hour. "He's had points taken away for illegally kneeing people himself, and then he goes out talking about me as if I'm Satan or something. The guy's an absolute hypocrite."
The heightening trash talk between the pair could be seen as an effort to hype a forthcoming showdown, but Bisping insists he does not want to fight Marquardt.
"He s*** the bed every time he's in a main event," the 32-year-old continued. "He's had three No. 1 contender fights and a title shot and lost them all. I want to fight the top guys and I think Chael Sonnen for me is the biggest possible name I could get, and that's what I'm hoping for. Nate Marquardt doesn't excite me."
Bisping may have to wait for Sonnen though, after he had his court hearing regarding a money laundering charge postponed on Monday.
