Fedor's next opponent to be announced within next ten days

Fedor Emelianenko will return to the Octagon in July under the Strikeforce banner.

Strikeforce chief executive Scott Coker confirmed to Fighters Only magazine that the Russian would learn the identity of his big-name opponent in within the next ten days.

Fedor will be desperate to stop the rot after losing back-to-back fights for the first time in his career at the hands of Brazilians Fabricio Werdum and Antonio Silva.

The Last Emperor has established himself as one of the best heavyweights in MMA after going unbeaten in 27 fights over a decade.

He is currently working on his Muay Thai with trainer Ernesto Hoost in Holland.
