St-Pierre begins to put Anderson Silva behind him

Georges St-Pierre insists Anderson Silva is not "unbeatable", but it seems a collision between the pair is a long way off after the Canadian spoke about their potential superfight very much in the past tense.
St-Pierre is preparing for Jake Shields at UFC 129, and it had appeared that the UFC welterweight champion would set up a clash with middleweight king Silva if he won on April 30.
President Dana White had even gone as far as to outline the circumstances in which St-Pierre and Silva would collide, but that scenario now appears to be off the table.
Reports emerged over the weekend that Silva's next fight will be against Yushin Okami in Rio, while GSP is looking at the likes of Jon Fitch, BJ Penn or Anthony Johnson.
Widely recognized as the best two pound-for-pounders in the sport, GSP insists he wanted to take on Silva, despite his obvious size disadvantage. And he believes there is a gameplan to overcome The Spider.
"As an MMA fan, I wanted to fight him," St-Pierre told Tatame, clearly knowing that the bout is no longer on the imminent horizon. "I believe he's the best pound-for-pound fighter of the world. Anderson has no holes in his game.
"But like I said: No one is unbeatable, if I find a way to defeat him, I'd set the right strategy to do it."
