Rocha replaces injured Danzig at UFC 131

Mac Danzig has been ruled out of his clash with Donald Cerrone at UFC 131 on account of injury.

Danzig had been booked in to fight Cerrone on the undercard to the main event between Shane Carwin and Junior Dos Santos at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

However, he suffered a torn muscle in training which has forced him to pull out of the fight. The extent of the injury has not been divulged but the UFC has moved to bring in a replacement to take on Cerrone.

Vagner Rocha has been handed the chance to make his UFC debut as he will take on Cerrone. Rocha has a record of 6-1 in MMA, but has yet to taste action in the UFC.

It will be a challenging debut for Rocha, as Cerrone will step into the lightweight clash on the back of three successive wins.
