Massenzio drafted in to fight Soszynski

Mike Massenzio has agreed to step in to fight Krzysztof Soszynski at UFC 131 at just one week's notice, after an undisclosed injury forced Igor Pokrajac to pull out of the contest.
The UFC confirmed the alteration late on Monday. It is something of a lifeline for Massenzio, who was dropped from the UFC in August after suffering his second consecutive defeat inside the Octagon.
He was won his only fight since, however, but makes the step up from middleweight to light-heavyweight in order to face the Pole.
Soszynski, meanwhile, must now prepare for his third different opponent ahead of the event in Vancouver, after another injury forced original opponent Anthony Perosh to withdraw from the event.
Soszynski also really needs a win to spark his career, having won two and lost two in his last four professional fights.
UFC 131, which takes place at the Rogers Arena, will be headlined by the heavyweight brawl between Junior dos Santos and Shane Carwin.
