Brett Rogers has been cut by Strikeforce after being charged by police.
The heavyweight was released from his contract following his arrest for allegedly assaulting his wife on Wednesday night.
Rogers faces charges of assault in the third degree, domestic assault by strangulation and pattern of stalking conduct, as well as endangerment of a child, after his daughter tried to intervene.
Rogers leaves Strikeforce with a 2-3 record, having lost his last three fights, most recently a submission defeat to former UFC heavyweight champion Josh Barnett.
