Australia host New Zealand on Saturday in Brisbane but the Kiwis have already tied up the Bledisloe Cup for another year.

The All Blacks have recently added the Rugby Championship to their burgeoning trophy collection after finishing the tournament with six wins from six. Their back-to-back victories over Australia in the first two matches of the Championship ensured that the Bledisloe Cup will stay on Kiwi soil for the tenth year running. They defeated the Wallabies 27-19 in Sydney and then overcame them 22-0 in Auckland a week later.

Since their first meeting in 1903, New Zealand have won 117 of their 169 contests, with five draws and 47 Wallaby victories. But while Australian records show 169 clashes, New Zealand disregard 24 of these between 1920 and 1928.

They were matches played between New Zealand and New South Wales and while the Australian Rugby Union retrospectively awarded caps to the Australians who played in those games, the New Zealand Rugby Union did not. Therefore, in New Zealand's view, this Saturday's match will be the 146th clash with the Kiwis on 99 wins.

The Suncorp Stadium is normally a happy hunting ground for the Kiwis. The All Blacks have taken three of the four encounters they've had at the ground with the last time the pair met in Brisbane coming back in August 2011. Australia prevailed that day 25-20 with Will Genia, Radike Samo and Kurtley Beale all going over. It was the match that clinched the 2011 Tri-Nations title for the Wallabies.
