A rugby league convert, Rod Davies has the potential to make a huge name for himself within the 15-man code with his native Australia.
Davies grew up playing league and although he was a part of the same Australian Schools backline as Quade Cooper and Kurtley Beale, after finishing school he signed with NRL outfit the Brisbane Broncos.
However, after two seasons with the Broncos, Davies returned to union in 2009 with the Reds. He was included in the Australian squad for the IRB Under-20 World Championships on the back of just five appearances for the Reds and although his game time in 2010 was severely limited by hamstring problems, he still managed to score five tries for the franchise.
That October he was included in the Wallabies squad for their end-of-year tour.
