London Irish flanker George Stowers will captain Samoa as they take on Wales at the Millennium Stadium on Friday night.

Stowers is one of five Guinness Premiership players named in the starting line-up for the game, which will also help to raise funds for the recent Tsunami that devastated Samoa.

Wasps wing David Lemi and Exiles centre Seilala Mapusua will showcase their explosive talents in the backline, with Mapusua joined in the midfield by Clermont Auvergne's Gavin Williams. Williams has returned to France with his pregnant wife, but is expected to return.

Newcastle Falcons lock Filipo Levi packs down behind a powerful front-row containing Glasgow's Justin Va'a, Sale's Mahonri Schwalger and Toulouse prop Census Johnston.

The majority of the squad only assembled in Cardiff three days ago, but coach Fuimaono Tafua is confident that his side will not let him down.

"We are going to be facing a very tough game, but this is a great opportunity for us to play against a tier one rugby nation," he said. "We just want to play good rugby on Friday. We see Wales as one of the best tier one teams, but we will be trying our best."
