Sam Warburton admits he supports England whenever Wales are not playing - and wants to win over 100 Test caps for his national side.

The Wales captain will be hoping to lead his side against England when the two teams meet in the Rugby World Cup Pool A clash at Twickenham on September 26.

Warburton told the Daily Mail: "My parents were born in England but I'm not like other people - I support all the home nations and Great Britain as a whole. "

"I was born and raised in Wales so when it came to playing, Wales was always the only option."

The British & Irish Lions star has over 50 caps for Wales, but is keen to be remembered as one of the country's all-time greats.

"People might perceive this to be big-headed but I'd love to be one of the top, top players who's ever played," Warburton added.

"The guys who become legends play at international level for 10 years. They go to multiple World Cups and on multiple Lions tours. I'd love to be up there with the likes of Gareth Edwards, Martyn Williams, Shane Williams, Neil Jenkins.

"I've had a decent few years and I want to make sure I maintain that for the rest of my career."
